Free admission to the University of Tokyo's scientific specimen collection
Intermediatheque, located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of KITTE, has made available to the public, free of charge, the scientific specimen collection of the University of Tokyo accumulated since the university's inception in 1877. This museum is run by Japan's highest educational institution in cooperation with Japan Post. Various artifacts, including animal skeletons, medical equipment, minerals, and more are displayed in a magnificent atmosphere served by a unique design.

A direct ride to Tokyo Station with only your hand luggage
If going from Haneda Airport to Tokyo Station, we recommend Keikyu Limousine Bus. A place which will take you back in time to more than 110 years ago
The Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum is hosted inside a building with an impressive red brick façade which was completed in 1894 and restored in 2009. It was reconstructed as faithfully as possible in keeping with the original design by a British architect Josiah Conder.

An Hotel with an atmosphere and history unique to a capital city's station
The prestigious hotel, founded in 1915 and renovated in 2012, has been watching over the city for more than 100 years from its privileged location inside the station building. A natural and historical space inside the Imperial Palace
This vast park rich in nature was created in a section of Edo Castle (the current Imperial Palace). The East Gardens of the Imperial Palace are open to the public and everyone can stroll around in them. The lunch time concerts by the Imperial Police Force music corps, although held only occasionally, are especially recommended.

Chidorigafuchi, the perfect spot for enjoying cherry blossoms in spring
Those wishing wish to see cherry blossoms around the Imperial Palace should head to Chidorigafuchi and Kitanomaru Park. When viewed from Chidorigafuchi, the cherry trees in full bloom seem to be covering the whole moat, and in Kitanomaru Park about 330 cherry trees are waiting for you.

The latest installment of the Godzilla movie series, "Shin Godzilla," released in 2016, features several scenes shot in Tokyo Station. In this movie, Godzilla heads north destroying in his walk the areas around Tokyo, including Kamakura, Yokohama and Kawasaki, and upon reaching Tokyo Station ... since we do not want to spoil the movie for you, make sure you go see it before visiting the station. One scene even features a Keikyu bus. Watch carefully without blinking!
