Yokohama area
Since its opening in 1930, Yamashita Park is the most well-known park in Yokohama. The park has a plaza called the World Plaza, a big playful staircase with a cascade, and various monuments.
Yokohama Chinatown
East Asia's largest Chinatown with more than 500 stores closely spaced in an area of about 200 square meters. Visitors enjoy eating good meals, and buying souvenirs and miscellaneous items.
Yokohama Cosmoworld
A popular amusement park with a thrilling roller coaster and fun attractions for kids. Enjoyable for visitors of all ages.
Yokohama Marine Tower
Since its opening in 1961, the Marine Tower has served as a symbol of Yokohama, and watched Yokohama Port grow. Enjoy a view of Yokohama City from the observatory, 91 meters above ground.
Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse
Red brick warehouses built about 100 years ago were renovated and converted to commercial facilities. Visitors can enjoy restaurants and stores. Various special events are also held here.
Kanagawa area
Home to many temples belonging to the Zen sect. Kenchoji Temple and Engakuji Temple are among the two of the notable five Zen temples called Kamakura Gozan in Kamakura. The temples remind us of the old good days of Kamakura, where the first shogunate government was established by Minamoto Yoritomo, a samurai lord. To visit Kamakura, transfer to the Yokosuka Line at Ofuna Railway Station, and get off at Kamakura Railway Station. It takes about 7 minutes from Ofuna Railway Station to Kamakura Railway Station.
Tokyo area
Asakusa and its neighborhood area have the ambiance of an old Japanese town. There is the Senso-ji Temple which has the famous Kaminari-mon Gate and Nakamise, the approach to the Temple lined with many souvenir shops. Asakusa is close to the TOKYO SKYTREE and is a must-visit place.
Konica Minolta Planetarium "TENKU" in TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN
TENKU is a planetarium in the TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN. All the seats are reclining seats which make you feel relaxed while enjoying the fantastic journey in the starry night sky.
SUMIDA AQUARIUM is an urban aquarium located in the TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN. It has one of the largest indoor pool where penguins and other animals live and the tank in which the sea of the Ogasawara Islands is reproduced. There is so much to see!
The TOKYO SKYTREE is the world's tallest free-standing broadcast tower boasting the height of 634 meters. Its observation deck at a height of 450 meters has a circular glass tube. You would feel as if you were walking in the sky.
The TOKYO Solamachi is a commercial facility lies at the foot of TOKYO SKYTREE. Its ground extends east to west for about 400 meters and there are 312 shops of all sorts. You can enjoy food and shopping here.
Akihabara
"Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Akiba," one of the largest electronics retail stores in Tokyo, opened as the area's new landmark in 2005. At the same time, Akihabara attracts enthusiasts of the subculture media of manga, anime and figurines.
There are many must-see areas around Ueno Railway Station, such as Ueno Zoological Gardens, Tokyo National Museum and the National Museum of Western Art. A wide variety of products are sold at inexpensive prices in "Ameya Yokocho" (candy store alley), which runs along the viaduct between Ueno Railway Station and Okachimachi Railway Station.
Daikanyama
Daikanyama is an area formed by connecting Shibuya Railway Station, Ebisu Railway Station, Ikejiri-Ohashi Railway Station and Nakameguro Railway Station. Dotted with high-class boutiques, restaurants and sweets shops, Daikanyama has a classy elegant atmosphere.
Jiyugaoka
The area around Jiyugaoka Railway Station is a fashionable area dotted with sophisticated boutiques, specialty stores, restaurants and cafes. Jiyugaoka is one of the trendsetting areas of Tokyo.
SHIBUYA 109
A mecca for women's fashion. Most of the floors from the 2nd basement to the 8th floor above ground are occupied with shops specialized in women's fashion for the late teens and the early twenties.
Inokashira Park
The park is laid out around Inokashira Pond, which serves as the headwaters of Kanda River. Visitors can enjoy nature in each season, like cherry blossoms in the spring, fresh greenery in the summer, and fall foliage. It is about a 5-minute walk from Kichijoji Railway Station.
Tama area
A great place to enjoy riding a cable car and climbing in the suburbs of Tokyo. Mt. Takao is one of the three-star destinations in the Michelin Green Guide Japan. To visit Mt. Takao, transfer to the Chuo Line at Tachikawa Railway Station, and get off at Takao Railway Station. It takes about 18 minutes from Tachikawa Railway Station to Takao Railway Station.

Hakone / Gotemba area
Known for its magnificent nature and hot spring spas in various places. To visit Hakone, transfer to Limited Express Romancecar at Hon-Atsugi Railway Station, get off at Hakone-Yumoto Railway Station, transfer to the Hakone Tozan Railway, and get off at Miyanoshita Railway Station. It takes about 47 minutes from Hon-Atsugi Railway Station to Miyanoshita Railway Station.
Hakone Kowakien Yunessun
This is a hot spring leisure facility offering both day-bathing and overnight stay options. Enjoy an assortment of bathing styles from open air-baths with garden settings to a swimsuit amusement-spa area.
With a total length of 4 km, Hakone Ropeway is the longest ropeway in Japan. It links 4 stations from Sounzan Station to Togendai Station. Enjoy a "mid-air stroll" featuring a grand panorama that looks out on spots like Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji .
Hakone Tozan Railway
Tracing back to a 1919 opening, this is Japan's sole authentic mountain railroad. With a steep incline, a dark tunnel trip, and a railway bridge crossing, this trip will dazzle your eyes.
Hakone-Yumoto Hot Spring
First developed in the 8th century, this hot spring prospered in the 17th century as a hot spring resort area along the old Tokaido route. Its feature charm is its tranquil highland setting. With easy access from Tokyo, it remains a popular favorite today.
A dammed lake in Mt. Hakone, Lake Ashi presents a beautiful landscape with a view of Mt. Fuji and fun tour boats. It is also popular as a fishing area plentiful in trout and bass.
You can see volcanic vents erupting from Owakudani, a volcanic crater created during the last eruption of the Hakone Volcano. Be sure to try black boiled eggs produced here. Transfer to Hakone Ropeway at Hakone-Togendai, and get off at Owakudani Railway Station. It takes about 16 minutes from Hakone-Togendai to Owakudani Railway Station.
The Hakone Open-Air Museum
This is the first open air museum in Japan. Some 120 sculptures are on display amidst the great outdoors. Enjoy viewing art flavored with a seasonal ambiance.
Kawaguchiko / Fujisan area
Lake Kawaguchi
Lake Kawaguchi has the longest shoreline out of all of the five lakes located at the foot of Mt. Fuji. The surrounding area is home to some great hot spring facilities with spectacular views of Mt. Fuji from open-air baths.
Fuji-Q Highland
Located at the foot of Mt. Fuji, the Fuji-Q Highland amusement park boasts several Guinness level "scream machines." Enjoy the beautiful view of Mt. Fuji from within the park.

Mt. Fuji Fifth Station
Located at the timberline, Mt. Fuji Fifth Station is often referred to as the border between heaven and earth. In the summertime, it is bustling with climbers in its role as a base for mountain climbing. With its shrines, shops, and observation deck looking out on Lake Yamanaka, it is also fun as a convenient sightseeing spot as well.
Koshu area
In addition to its historical sites like Takeda Shrine and scenic sites like Shosenkyo Gorge, Kofu City is also known for its local products like peaches, grapes and other fruits, the hoto noodle dish, and wines. The city is also dotted with hot spring spas.
